According to this article, the Woodbridge Animal Shelter is offering free pet adoptions this week for residents of the three municipalities that pay Woodbridge for animal control services, Carteret, South Amboy and Roselle Park.
I have read several articles that highlight the fact that since the downturn in our nation’s economy, there has been an increase in the number of pets that are being abandoned. Across the US, many animal shelters are seeing a greater number of animals in need of a good home.
